To instill appreciation for wildlife and wild spaces.

Everyone should be able to comfortably spend a few nights in the wild and have the opportunity to hunt and fish.  We believe that the exercise of these traditions produce  the best traits in people.   

Students will complete their course inspired and empowered to teach others.  

We provide a local, four week course of hands-on experience, teaching how incredibly fun, rewarding and relaxing a hunting/fishing trip can be. Students learn about our unique North American Model of Wildlife Conservation (the 7 Sisters). 

Students will become stewards of our precious wildlife resources.

 Outdoor Discovery Academy is taught by a passionate outdoorsman with experience (hunting and fishing in over 11 states and 3 countries) and a desire to pass on the lost art of Woodmanship to the next generation. Certified NRA Rifle Instructor, US Navy Veteran, and father of 6, Duke is devoted to instill confidence in the field and instill a desire to explore our amazing state.
